Perspective is hard! I always struggle with it. And a reason I rarely draw buildings 🤣
But speaking of perspective, you mention books that was not what you where looking for. Well I know 3Dtotal is coming out with a book about perspective. That might be something to look into? I own their other two books in same series "color and light" and "composition & Narrative" both full of great info. Bet this one will as well!
Perspective is so daunting, isn’t it Louise?! I just invoke “artistic licence” when having to work with anything I’m a little less confident about 😂 I love seeing how your thoughts and sketches are progressing in your sketchbooks! Sounds like you had some really valuable and fun sessions to take on board for your next projects! ❤️
Thank you for sharing with us. It is always beautiful to be able to see someone- you - moving on, learning.
It reminded me of giving drawing lessons. For most of the students there has been a moment, when through observational drawing, they could understand how to depict space on paper. It is magic to translate 3 dimensions onto a two dimensional plane… and then you start playing with space.
Loved this second installment so much!!! I've had this post open for literally a month in my tab because it's so inspiring... waiting for your third post!! :)
Really enjoyed reading this Louise ☀️
Looks like a really good course!😍
