I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I hope you'll like the sketchbooks too! I have a feeling you'll especially like the Royal Talens because they stand up well to wet media and have a nice subtle texture for coloured pencils.
I love the page with the trees, the colors you use are so warm and playful yet still realistic! I use my sketchbooks in a similar way to you, a big one for figuring out projects and a smaller one for sketching/playing. I've been enjoying your newsletters and your art for a while and I have to say I'm also a bit jealous of how much you travel and the lovely view from your window :)
Thank you very much! I think it's a good system, I'm considering even using 3 so that one would be for "studio play", because currently I do that on loose sheets of paper. I'm really glad you're enjoying them. Haha I assure you all that moving comes with its downsides, but thank you, I do feel lucky :)
